Easter changes everything – not least prayer.  After Easter Sunday the disciples were able to pray to the Risen Lord.  We do not pray to a dead idol…to a memory…our prayers are not just blessed thoughts.  They are to the Risen Lord.  And they are not to a distant Lord.  Because he has sent the Comforter, the Holy Spirit, we know that He is with us always – even to the ends of the earth.  The death and resurrection of Jesus opens the door to the throne of mercy.  Let’s walk through it with boldness!
