Psa. 31:23-24

Love the LORD, all his faithful people! The LORD preserves those who are true to him, but the proud he pays back in full.  Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the LORD.

The Scripture often tells us to be strong and take heart – because we are so naturally inclined to be weak and give up!   Pray in the strength and encouragement of the Lord.

“How then do I seek you, Lord? For when I seek you, my God, I seek a happy life.  I will seek you that my soul may live.  For my body lives by my soul, and my soul lives by you”   (Augustine)
