Prayers From Philippians

Phil. 2:5  In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; 7 rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. 8 And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death-even death on a cross!

What a remarkable idea!  That we would think the same as Jesus.   That is a very high standard – to say the least.   And how did Christ think?    He made himself nothing.  He become a servant.  He came from the glory of heaven to the poverty of a stable.   He humbled himself by becoming obedient to the death of the cross.  In prayer let us reflect about that – that should stop our sinful pride and complaining.
